Structural social work practice

By contrast, the practice of conventional social work tends to focus only on the relation between people and their environments. For example, the ecological approach and the life model approach are based heavily on systems theory. The purpose within this theory is only to enhance clients' coping and problem-solving abilities, link people to resources, promote access to human services, and contribute to better social policy
