has a vast collection of news, articles and resources. Included is a
summary of lesbian and gay rights in each jurisdiction in Canada.

This is a large website covering most issues. GayCanada, which was
started in 1994, focused directly on serving as a resource centre on the
Internet. The section on support groups and counselling is most relevant
to the work of social workers.
Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays http://www.pflag.ca/
Information and resources for gay men, lesbians and bisexuals and their
families and friends. Most chapters have scheduled meetings that provide
support and information.
International Gay and Lesbian Human Rights Commission
http://www.iglhrc.org/
IGLHRC's mission is to protect and advance the human rights of all
people and communities subject to discrimination or abuse on the basis of
sexual orientation, gender identity, or HIV status. Their website contains
excellent resources, news and urgent action items.
